Gray Ford MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker, Master of Social Work

It’s natural to seek any perceived sense of stability in an ever-changing world. Sometimes, we find comfort in predictability, or in how we cope in the short term, and this might be misaligned with our values and prevent the changes we would consider beneficial in the long term. If you’re feeling stuck between the familiar and a pull toward something new, we can work together to explore that uncertainty in a safe, trusting, and collaborative way.

My name is Gray, and I would like to acknowledge my illegitimate privilege as a white, settler, non-disabled, and cis-hetero male raised on the traditional lands of what is known in Cree as Amiskwaciwâskahikan, located on Treaty 6 territory, also referred to as Edmonton, Alberta. I have worked with and alongside folks navigating concurrent substance use and mental health concerns for over a decade and strive to uphold anti-oppressive, anti-racist, culturally-grounded, strength-based, and trauma-informed values in my practice.

I earned a Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University, where I spent my time during a practicum supporting those navigating life-changing and profound grief related to the death of a loved one. I have a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing grief, substance use concerns, relational strain, and life transitions.

Areas of Interest:

  • Adjusting relationships with substances and associated behaviours.
  • Anxiety, fears, and worry.
  • Communication.
  • Depression.
  • Emotional regulation.
  • Grief, loss, death, dying, and caregiver burnout.
  • Life transitions.
  • Low self-esteem, image, and perception of self.
  • Relationship concerns.
  • Sexual orientation, gender identity.
  • Stress and burnout

Therapeutic Approach

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Strength-Based
  • Trauma-Informed and Compassion-Focused, grounded in a practice of cultural humility, anti-oppression, and anti-racism.

Robyn Scobie RPN, MHT, DCA

Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Mental Health Therapist, Designated Capacity Assessor

I work with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and boundary setting. I also support those experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, mood and personality disorders, psychosis, and more.

I’m passionate about empowering people to build meaningful, fulfilling lives. Therapy offers a space to reflect on what truly matters and to take steps aligned with your values. Whether you’re looking to strengthen relationships, improve communication, or better manage overwhelming emotions, I meet you where you are. Life can feel unpredictable, but therapy can provide a steady anchor—helping you stay grounded while you ride the waves without getting swept away

Originally from rural Manitoba I grew up on a cattle farm in a rural setting. I’ve lived across Western Canada and now call Edmonton home. I come from a multicultural background of European and Indigenous heritage including Métis and Ojibwa. I value community, nature, and balance, and enjoy activities like hiking, snowboarding, yoga, and paddle boarding. I believe in creating space to slow down, reconnect, and prioritize self-care—because when you care for yourself, you show up more fully in your life and relationships.

Background & Experience I have worked in mental health since 2009 across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. My experience spans a wide range of inpatient and community settings, including crisis services, forensic and correctional environments, adult and youth mental health, geriatric psychiatry, and psychosis programs. I also have experience supporting individuals and families navigating complex mental health and addiction systems.

I hold a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (Grant MacEwan College, 2009) and am a Designated Capacity Assessor through the Alberta Health Minister (2025), with training from the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee.
